Jagger Zeidel, was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Hickory as a young child. He is currently dual enrolled at CVCC and NC State University majoring in engineering. Jagger states: CCSA is extremely important to me because I want to have a positive impact in my community. In high school I often felt misled and confused about college, in fact, I didn't even know if I was going to pursue a college degree until my senior year! I want to do my part to help high school students see that the road to college doesn't have to be scary and confusing. I want to empower them to chase their dreams.
Bryen Alvarez. Was born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina. He is a first generation Mexican-American attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill double majoring in Business Administration and Computer Science. Bryen states: CCSA is a platform that allows us to express our gratitude for the Catawba County community. Growing up, I recognized the barriers that many underrepresented students face while navigating education. I want to share my advice to students and support their goals!
